For making subscription application through the e-IPO portal, an investor must:
- register themselves on the e-IPO portal.
- be a citizen of Pakistan (whether resident or non-resident)
- possess a CDS account (investor or sub account)
- have a valid CNIC
- have an active email address
- have a bank account
- apply as an individual

Who are eligible to apply?
Following is the eligibility criteria for Soneri Debit Master Card:
- Individuals maintaining PKR chequing accounts with the Bank
- Joint Account Holders with Operating instructions of Either or Survivor
- Sole Proprietor having mandate issued by the firm either on the firm’s letterhead or PKR 100/- stamp paper may apply for Soneri Debit Master Card (Check with ADC Ops)
- In order to apply for the Soneri Debit Master Card, the account holder of the Soneri Bank must be a resident of Pakistan. All non-resident account holders do not qualify or hold a Soneri Debit Master Card
What are the mandatory requirements for Soneri Debit Master Card application form?
Debit Card request subject to the availability of valid information in the following mandatory fields:
- CNIC/NICOP/POC/Passport (check from ADC Operations) “only for resident foreign nationals”
- Date of Birth
- Father’s/ Guardian’s/Spouse’s Name
- Mother’s Maiden Name
- Name on Card

Following account categories do not qualify to obtain Soneri Debit Master Card:
- Any Non-Personal account i.e. Companies, Organizations, Trust Account, Government Account and Collection Account, etc. except for Sole Proprietorship accounts
- Customer accounts having joint operations
- Dormant, inoperative, blocked or restricted accounts
- Partnership accounts
- Account with “NIL” balance
- Accounts requiring thumb impressions/photo for operation

Yes, you can pay for shopping over Internet (need to activate the session via phone banking officer), shopping, meals, travel, entertainment, holiday, petrol and others facilities.
Is the purchase amount instantly deducted from account?
Yes, the purchase amount is instantly deducted from the Card holder’s account.
Can I transfer funds between my own accounts via Soneri Debit Master Card?
Yes, you can transfer funds using your Soneri Debit Master Card via ATM.
Is there any daily limit for number of transactions performing on POS or ATM?
There is no limit on number of transactions performing on POS or ATM.
Can I transfer funds via Soneri Debit Master Card between my own accounts?
Yes, you can transfer funds between your own accounts via ATM and Internet Banking.
Can I transfer funds to anyone via Soneri Debit Master Card?
Yes, you can transfer funds via ATM and Internet Banking (only 1-Link Member Bank Accounts).

3D Secure is an enhanced security feature on your Soneri Debit MasterCard aimed at improving online transaction security. 3D Secure is latest technology powered by powered by Visa and MasterCard. 3D Secure provides card holder with an additional layer of online security through authentication of each transaction, thus when you use your Soneri Debit MasterCard on websites that display “MasterCard SecureCode” and “Visa Secure” respectively, you will receive a unique 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) on the registered mobile number or email.

3D Secure is latest technology powered by Visa and MasterCard, provides an additional layer of security when using your Soneri Debit MasterCard for internet-based transactions. You will be required to enter One Time Password (OTP), that is sent to your registered mobile number or email address, while conducting transaction on 3D Secure enabled websites.
What is meant by One Time Password (OTP)?
A One Time Password (OTP) is a 6-digit online verification code sent to your registered mobile number or email address or both, whichever is selected to complete 3D enabled internet-based transaction.
How does 3D Secure protect me against unauthorized transactions?
3D Secure protects you against unauthenticated online purchases as you may be required to enter an OTP that will be sent to your registered mobile number or email address, before you can complete the online purchase.
How much does the 3D Secure feature cost?
The 3D Secure feature is free of cost on Soneri Debit MasterCard.
How do I register for 3D Secure?
Soneri Bank customers are not required to register for 3D Secure. All Soneri Bank MasterCard holders with registered mobile number/email address with Bank can avail this facility.
What if I want to deactivate my Soneri Debit MasterCard for online shopping?
You can deactivate your Soneri Debit MasterCard for online shopping by Soneri Digital App or calling at our helpline 021111766374.
How long the OTP is valid for?
A unique OTP remains valid for 5 minutes only, after which the transaction needs to be re-initiated.
What information is required to perform an online transaction?
Your will be required to enter following card details on payment page:
1. Valid Card Number
2. CVV (Card Verification Value placed on the backside of the Soneri Debit MasterCard)
3. Card Expiry Date
