SONERI Bank currently receives payments from MoneyGram International, Wall street Finance Canada, Golden Money Transfer, Xpress Money, Continental Exchange Solution, Trans-Fast, Max Money transfer, LCC Trans sending, and Al Ansari Exchange.
2. Can I send money from Israel to Pakistan?
Money send from Israel is prohibited.
3. What are the charges of Home Remittance? Does SONERI Bank charge anything for it?
NO CHARGES – As per directives of State Bank of Pakistan, the recipient (beneficiary) will not have to pay for receiving money. SONERI Bank pays the entire amount received from abroad to the beneficiary.
4. What is Turnaround Time (TAT) of remittance received through abroad?
As soon as a payment is received from abroad it is immediately available for collection by the beneficiary from any of our branches across Pakistan. Payments can be collected within our regular banking hours.
5. Is an account with SONERI Bank mandatory to avail the Home Remittance?
It is not mandatory or necessary for the beneficiary to maintain an account with SONERI Bank to avail this service.
The beneficiary can receive payment in Cash by personally visiting any of SONERI Branches. For identification purposes, the beneficiary must carry the original CNIC or Passport.
6. List of currencies that can be issued in Home Remittance by SONERI BANK?
Home Remittances are only paid in Pakistani Rupees.
7. Can we give foreign currencies through Home Remittance?

8. What are the mandatory requirements to avail the Remittance?
The Beneficiary must have a legal identity (CNIC or Passport) issued by the Government of Pakistan such as CNIC / Passport.
9. If a receiver doesn’t collect the remittance from SONERI Bank then what would be the maximum time to HOLD the request?
There is no maximum holding period, if uncollected, payment received will remain with the Bank, till such time that the Sending Agent requests for a cancellation and refund of payment.
10. Shall Soneri Bank issue foreign currency DD against the Home Remittance?
Home Remittances are only paid in Pakistani Rupees.
