User Guidelines in English

Dear Customer,
In this endeavor to provide convenient and high quality customer services, Soneri bank now offers you its easy to use automatic telephone banking services accessible on phone from your office, home or any other places 24hours a day and seven day of week. Simply dial our customer services call center at 111SONERI or 111-766374 and follow the recorded instructions. By using the dial pad of a touch-tone telephone set, you can reach the services you desire. This guidebook will help you access the information o your choice. Enjoy the convenience of Soneri telephone banking. If you still face any difficulty using the services. Please visit your branch for assistance.

1. Language selection option:

After connecting to the call center, you will have multiple languages options available.

For English press 1
For Urdu press 2

Note: you can press (*) for the previous menu or press 9 to terminate the call at any option.

2. Menu Services:

For Banking Information, press 1
For Telebanking services press 2

For Banking Information
For product information press 1
For foreign exchange rate press 2

Product Information:

Commentary on Soneri banks different products.

Foreign Exchange Rates

Buying and selling foreign exchange rate of the following currency are available:

For US dollar press 1
For UK pound press 2
For Japanese yen press 3
For Euro press 4
For Swiss frank press 5
For Canadian dollar press 6

3. Telebanking Services:

Enter your card number (number on your Soneri banking card) and press (*).The system will then ask you to enter your T-Pin (your secret and confidential number).

If your card number or your T-Pin are incorrect, you will be requested to re-enter correct card number and T-Pin.

Note: AFTER THREE UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS YOUR ACCESS TO SONERI BANKING SERVICES SHALL BE BLOCKED DUE TO SECURITY REASON. TO UNBLOCK THE SERVICES PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SONERI BANK BRANCH.

4. Selection of Account:

Successfully entry of card number and T-Pin will give you access to the telephone banking services. If you have more than one account link to your card, the system will guide you to enter your account number manually or selected from the list of account.

For manual entry of the
account number press 1
For selection of your Accounts
From the available list press 2
(Recommended)

Manual selection of account:
Enter your branch code (refer your cheque book for branch code) and press (*). Then enter your full account number together with suffix and press (*).

Selection of account from list:
Press related option of your choice and your account number will be automatically selection.

5. Main Menu.

Following are the main services of Telephone Banking.

For Balance information press 1
For Account Statement press 2
For selection of any other account press 3
For more services press 4

Balance Information:

You can retrieve your real time balance through this option.


Account Statement:

For Today’s Transaction by voice Press 1
For Current Month Transaction press 2
For Three Month Transaction by press 3

6. Current / Three Month Transactions

The system will give you options to receive your Statement of Account either through fax or by mail.

For Statement of Account
through fax Press 1
For Statement of Account
through mail Press 2

Statement of Account through Fax:
Enter your Fax Number with City Code as prefix and press (*) and your Statement will be faxed to that fax machine. Please remember to keep the fax machine free to receive the fax.

7. More Services

For T-PIN change press 1
For lost or stolen card reporting press 2
For new cheque book request press 3

T-PIN Change
Enter four digit new T-PIN of your own choice. You need to re-enter the new T-PIN for confirmation. Your old T-PIN will be replaced with the new one and valid for accessing the Telephone Banking system for the next use.

8. Lost / Stolen Card Report

Use of this option will block access to all services linked to the card. The System will ask for confirmation, which can be made by pressing 1. You may visit the branch for re-issuance of new card.
New Cheque Book Request
Request for standard chequebook has two options:

For Self pick up press 1
For Mailing to your
Registered address press 2

System will ask you for confirmation which can be done by pressing 1.
